What are the characteristics of an Autonomous Mobile Robot?
Meanwhile’s mobile robots are completely autonomous. To achieve this, the robots use Artificial Intelligence to locate themselves at all times and dynamically avoid obstacles…
We are delighted to announce that Meanwhile was featured on TF1’s “Bonjour! The broadcast highlighted the impact of our robotic solutions in hospitals, illustrating their usefulness through a remarkable example: the Cholet hospital.
The report began with a well-known problem: recruitment difficulties in the healthcare sector, which affect 98% of public establishments. In response, Cholet hospital chose an innovative solution: Walli, an autonomous robot designed to lighten the workload of nursing staff.
Standing 1.45 m high and operating 24/7, Walli is much more than just a tool. It moves autonomously, takes elevators and carries out deliveries, such as transporting medicines between the pharmacy and the oncology unit, without requiring any infrastructure work.
In two years of service, Walli has already covered 10,000 kilometers, proving its efficiency and robustness. This solution has now been adopted by 13 other hospitals in France and Belgium, where it continues to transform the daily lives of medical teams. To find out more about our solutions for the medical sector, visit our page Healthcare facilities.
This story perfectly illustrates Meanwhile’s mission: to use technology to meet modern challenges and simplify logistics processes, whether in industry or healthcare. With our Mw² software, we design solutions for demanding environments, while remaining attentive to the needs of end-users.

With nearly a hundred robots installed in France, Switzerland, Belgium, and soon in Italy, Meanwhile continues its international expansion and is structuring itself accordingly.

On the occasion of the 4th edition of Printemps de la Robotique, an online conference dedicated to heavy load transport in healthcare facilities was held.
